Why Become a RehabTherapist Associate

We are one of the UK’s leading providers of specialist neurological and elderly rehabilitation, delivering expert care directly in clients’ homes. Joining RehabTherapist means becoming part of a trusted nationwide network dedicated to enhancing mobility, confidence, and quality of life through person-centred rehabilitation.

You choose how much or how little you take on. Some therapists pick up one or two patients a week. Others take short blocks of work when it suits them. You set your own pace. Most of our referrals are neurological or elderly or orthopaedic rehab. You get a mix of assessments, treatment sessions, reviews, and the option of joint sessions for more complex cases if you prefer support. We keep the admin simple and the communication open. You’re trusted to work independently while still having a team you can call when you want second opinions or a quick chat about a case.

Who this suits
Therapists who:

  • Are HCPC registered
  • Have experience in neuro, elderly rehab or community work
  • Are comfortable working independently in people’s homes
  • Want flexible self-employed work that fits around other commitments
  • Communicate clearly with patients, families and referrers

Additional associate benefits

If you have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in your relevant therapy profession and can dedicate few hours a week to private community practice, you too could enjoy the benefits of joining our nationwide RehabTherapist network

Our Application Process

You start by answering a short screening questionnaire. It checks things like your HCPC registration, experience and the right to work in the UK.

If you meet the initial criteria, you’ll be asked to add your contact details and upload your CV. Nothing long or complicated, just the basics.

We read through your CV and make sure your experience matches the type of work we offer. If you’re shortlisted, we’ll get in touch to set up an interview.

This is a relaxed conversation about your background, the sort of work you enjoy, and how much availability you have. It’s also your chance to ask questions.

If you’re successful, we’ll ask for the usual documents. This includes:

    • Professional liability insurance
    • HCPC registration
    • Evidence of mandatory training
    • Proof of right to work
    • Enhanced DBS

Once everything is in place, we issue your contract. As soon as that’s signed, you’re officially part of the team.

We match you with a suitable patient based on your skills, location and availability. You’ll get a clear handover so you know exactly what to expect before you visit.
